Collaboration with the International Movement
Immediately after Cyprus signed the conditions of Geneva, and although it had not yet been recognized, the Cyprus Red Cross Society (CRCS) established a close collaboration, as much with the International Committee Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, as with almost all the National Societies, especially those of Europe and neighboring countries.
In addition to the promotion of the principles and the preservation of the emblem, the CRCS takes part in conferences, seminars, campaigns and more, takes part in networks, programs and committees, responds to appeals for the consignment of humanitarian help to other countries, helps with reuniting families and finding missing people, hosts European seminars and meetings and generally responds consistently to all its international liabilities.
