Honorary distinction of Mrs Fotini Papadopoulou
The President of the Cyprus Red Cross Society, Mrs. Fotini Papadopoulou, was one of the distinguished personalities from the worldwide Hellenism, who have been honored by His Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Karolos Papoulias, for their substantial contribution to the public life, serving the people and the Hellenic ideals.
The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Athens, on Wednesday, 16 July 2014, and Mr. Papoulias, awarded Mrs. Fotini Papadopoulou with the Commander of the Order of the Phoenix, one of the highest honors of the Hellenic Republic, for her more than forty years continuous and multilevel contribution to the Cypriot society through the Cyprus Red Cross and various other organizations.
