The Cyprus Red Cross Society (C.R.C.S.), with its multifaceted services, monitors and caringly becomes involved in any matter which is linked to the prosperity and quality of life of inhabitants. In the past years, natural and manmade causes have caused great destruction to the environment. These mostly unpleasant effects have been felt by millions of people, in every corner of the world.

Due to the fact that Cyprus is one of the countries that experience the adverse effects of a changing climate, the C.R.C.S. has included activities which are designed to enlighten society in its program and help society to adopt a more environmentally friendly attitude towards the environment.
